Archery, the sport and skill of using a bow to shoot arrows, has found its target in our community for decades. In fact, Cleveland offers several clubs dedicated to the sport and practicing across Northeast Ohio.
Since we’re no strangers to taking up our bow and arrows wherever there’s an open field, it’s fitting that the word “archery” comes from the Latin word for bow, meaning to bend.
The 2024 Pan-American Masters Games will offer target archery which involves shooting arrows at a target from a set distance. As the world’s most popular form of this sport, we can’t wait for you to pack your bows and join us in The Land for Summer 2024.
We are offering a parasport/adaptive option for archery.
