FAVORITE SPORTS MEMORY OR ACCOMPLISHMENT?

So hard to narrow this down! These are at the top:

  • Competing in triathlons with my son, who is also a triathlete – we motivate each other and race well when we are together. Sharing our love of this sport is special on so many levels!
  • I have competed in 16 multisport world championships and podiumed in three events. Worlds are special for the adventure and the friendships! Extra special when family is able to travel with me!
  • My first triathlon was in Seoul Korea in the Olympic venue in 1989 (after the 1988 Seoul Olympic games). I was the first female finisher so I got to break the tape in the Olympic stadium!

FUN FACT
