Volleyball is a team sport featuring two teams of six players separated by a net. Each team takes turns serving, bumping, setting and spiking the ball to their opponent with the goal of grounding the ball on the other team’s side to gain points.
The first team to score 25 points with a two-point margin for victory, wins the match.
An official part of the Summer Olympics since the 1960s, indoor volleyball, a variation on the game of beach volleyball, has been featured at many IMGA masters events.
In the early 1900s, Canada became one of the first countries outside of the United States to really ‘dig’ the sport of volleyball. Nowadays, the sport is played in many countries including Brazil, and across Europe and Asia.
With such a popular approach for the game, we expect our Masters athletes will be on the attack come Summer 2024.

Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland
Our indoor volleyball courts will take over Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland, an indoor venue where you can bump, set and spike to your team’s advantage.
Cleveland’s convention center is located a close walk to many downtown shops, restaurants and entertainment venues. It’s also close to Lake Erie and some of our favorite outdoor parks and grassy areas.
