For over 35 years, Cleveland State University’s Busbey Natatorium has hosted a number of swimming championships in its elite venue. As one of the first indoor pools in the State of Ohio to be built 50 meters in length, the large gutters have made it a great venue to achieve your fastest time.

Over 933,000 gallons of water fill this pool which is 25 yards wide and contains 23 seven-foot, or 2.3 yard, lanes. Taking a dip below the surface, the pool features underwater speakers and six underwater windows, which provide a great coaching tool when assessing swim technique.

Additionally, the venue boasts a 25-yard instructional pool serving as the perfect warm up and cool down area pre-and-post meet.

Busbey Natatorium has hosted several major championships including multiple Midwestern Collegiate Conference championships, United States International Diving meets, Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) and YMCA national championships, 2013 National Senior Games, 2014 Gay Games, the National Water Polo Championships and the World Swimming Games for the Deaf.
