Road Race Cycling

Time to get your drafting technique down because this discipline of cycling will be held in Cleveland, Ohio, U.S.A. during Summer 2024.

Traditionally, this event draws the largest numbers of competitors and spectators with its mass start and heated race to the finish.

There will also be a parasport/adaptive option for cycling – road race.

• Men’s: 30+, 35+, 40+, 45+, 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+, 70+, 75+, 80+, 85+, 90+, 95+
• Women’s: 30+, 35+, 40+, 45+, 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+, 70+, 75+, 80+, 85+, 90+, 95+
• Para-Sport: 30+, 40+, 50+, 60+

Events

• Distance determined by age category. Age categories will be contested in 5-year increments and are combined below for publication summary only.
  • 30-54: Approximately 51.5 km / 32 miles (8 laps)
  • 55-74: Approximately 38.6 km / 24 miles (6 laps)
  • 75-95+: Approximately 25.75 km / 16 miles (4 laps)

Venue

Cleveland Metroparks Brecksville Reservation

Cleveland has some of the best parks in the United States and the Cleveland Metroparks Brecksville Reservation is no exception. It’s the largest of our community’s 18 Cleveland Metroparks and offers some incredible views, historic landmarks and extraordinary plant life. The park contains an extensive system of trails linked by paved multi-purpose paths and hilly, but scenic, roadways. The race course will be announced once confirmed.
